KATAME was founded by judoka for judoka. Our aim is to connect and grow the judo community around the world. So far we have built a collective of more than 25 thousand judoka and judo enthusiasts online.

We want to encourage our community to take pride in the sport and represent their passion for judo both on and off the mat.

The judo apparel we see available doesn’t speak to us. The designs fail to represent the sport as they should and the quality often falls flat. Unlike other judo-apparel brands, KATAME offers more subtle and stylish designs that truly reflect the spirit of judo. Our T-shirts can be worn with pride, featuring unique embroidered designs, ensuring they stand out in both quality and aesthetics.

In order to guarantee a positive environmental impact, we ensure that all of our products are made from ethically-sourced sustainable cotton.

We also produce our products in 11 countries across the globe so that we can provide worldwide shipping whilst keeping our emissions low.

KATAME’s future is global. We aim to engage and form partnerships with judo clubs around the world, spreading our core values of dedication and respect—values we feel every judoka understands.
